What can I substitute for Red Mandarin – I really don’t like the medicinal scent of it. Thanks, Samantha
Hi Sam! Any other citrus would work just fine (: Just be careful, especially with Bergamot and Lemon as they can be photo toxic.
Is there a decent substitute for the jasmine absolute? I don’t have that one.
Hi Mary! Great question! Either rose absolute or rose otto would be great options to substitute. You could also just remove the jasmine absolute from the recipe and increase the drops of one of the other oils. While the finished aroma would be a bit different, it would still smell fantastic:)
I love all your recipes. I want to try them all but may need to substitute a few oils. Jasmine Absolute is a little more than I can afford but what is the difference from Jasmine, I do have that from another company.
Hi Mashelle! Substituting is just fine (: Feel free to e-mail team@aromatics.com with any questions!
I have heard cocoanut oil has the wrong kind of fats and with high cholestrol wondered if it contributes. Which carrier oils would be best to keep cholestrol at bay.
Hi Patricia! There are definitely a handful of different thoughts on Coconut Oil. For topical use, we absolute love it! It is super moisturizing for the skin, and healing as well. It is also safe to use on children (:
